Coaching Changes — Marfa

Marfa has named Jeff Jones as its new head coach and athletic director. Jones will replace Steve Urban whos contract was not renewed after last season.

Urban leaves after leading the Shorthorns for the last three seasons to an overall 8-22 record. Jones comes over after being the offensive coordinator at Crane. He has coached there since 2002.

Marfa will play Iraan, McCamey, Van Horn and Wink next year in District 5-1A Division II.
