2011 Coaching Change: Brownsville Lopez Lobos
Old Head Coach: Valentin Montemayor -- Retiring after coaching the Lobos to a 49-85-0 record over the last 13 seasons.
New Head Coach: Mike Ramirez -- Was the defensive coordinator for the Lobos the past two years. His only other head coaching job was at 2A Kenedy in 2008 where he took the Lions to an 0-9 season. Before that he was an assistant at Harlingen South.
Team News: The Lobos are on an 8 year losing streak and have 3 consecutive 1-9 seasons.
