Ross Rogers Joins Father in THSCA Hall of Honor

Coach Ross Rogers has been selected to the Texas High School Coaches Association Hall of Honor. He will be joining his father, Gene Rogers who was inducted in 1985.

Ross has coached at Hempstead (1977), Waller (1978-1982), Giddings (1987), A&M Consolidated (1988-1999) and Killeen Harker Heights (2000-2006). He retired after the 2006 season with a career record of 211-92-9.

He led A&M Consolidated to three state championship games winning it all in 1991. In 2000 he led Harker Heights in their very first varsity season to a district title. Coach Ross ranks #56 on the all-time coaching wins list with his 211 victories. His dad ranks #94 with an all-time record of 189-59-9.

The new hall of honor class will be inducted in July at Fort Worth.
