2011 Coaching Change: Corpus Christi Carroll Tigers
Old Head Coach: Terry Morris -- Reassigned after leading the Tigers for the past 14 years to a 105-55-0 record. His teams have made the playoffs 12 times but they have only won one playoff game in the past 9 seasons. Coach Morris currently ranks #134 on the all-time coaching list with a record of 178-128-7.
New Head Coach: Tony Trevino -- From 4A Uvalde where he led the Coyotes to a 22-20-0 record for the past 4 seasons. His teams have made the playoffs in each of the past 3 seasons but they have not won any of those playoff games. Before taking over at Uvalde, he was an assistant coach at Smithson Valley from 1997 to 2006.
Team News: The Tigers are currently on a streak of 8 consecutive winning seasons which is the longest in school history. Their big rivaly game is the "Battle Of The Bridge" vs. Gregory-Portland.
