2011 Coaching Change: Cypress Falls Golden Eagles
Old Head Coach: David Raffield — Leaving for 5A A&M Consolidated after leading the Golden Eagles to a 56-39-0 record over the last 8 seasons. He is the only coach to lead a Cypress Fairbanks ISD football team to the state championship game. They played in the 2006 5A Division II game losing to Cedar Hill 51-17. Before becoming head coach at Cypress Falls, Raffield was an assistant coach there for 11 seasons. He was also an assistant at Alief and Pearland.
New Head Coach: Kirk Eaton -- Was the associate head coach. He has been on the Golden Eagles coaching staff since 1998. He will only be the schools 3rd ever head coach.
Team News: The Golden Eagles finished 7-3 last season but missed the playoffs.
