2011 Coaching Change: Fort Bend Kempner Cougars
Old Head Coach: James Brown -- Leaving for 3A North Forney. He led the Cougars for the last 4 seasons to a 22-20 record. The Cougars made it to the playoffs in each of Brown’s four seasons but they were eliminated in bi-district play each year. Was also a head coach at 4A Brazosport (2-8 in 2006) after being an assistant at Alvin.
New Head Coach: Darrin Andrus -- Has been an assistant head coach at Kempner for the last five years. He has been an assistant coach for a total of 16 years at Kempner and other schools. This will be his first head coaching job.
Team News: The Cougars have an overall record over last 7 seasons of 38-38.
