West Orange-Stark Will Be Challenged Again

West Orange-Stark Mustangs history page has been updated!!

The Mustangs from West Orange-Stark have and will be tested. Last season they went through one of lifes toughest challenges when their star quarterback Reggie Garrett collapsed on the sideline and later passed away. This year they will have to do without their head coach (Dan Hooks) who has led the Mustangs for the past 30 seasons. Coach Hooks decided to hang up his whistle with a career coaching record of 277-71-2.

WOS ended 2010 with an 8-3 record for the second year in a row. They now have 8+ wins in 8 of their last 9 seasons. Last season their only losses came to Friendswood (a top 4A school 34-35), Kirbyville (a top 3A school 14-28) and Brookshire Royal (Had one of the states best RB's 21-24).

The Mustangs should continue their winning ways in 2011. They have a 78.85% winning percentage which is several point higher than any other schools history. Their all-time record is 306-81-3. The Mustangs will be challenged but they always seem to be up to that challenge.
