Fan Feedback:
Was wondering about John Ferrara in regard to number of wins. He coached at San Antonio Lee, Uvalde, and some more schools in San Antonio. Thanks

Thanks for the question. Currently Coach Ferrara is not listed in our all time coaching wins list but he should be and will be now after doing some research.
Coach Ferrara had a career coaching record of 188-79-7 which would put him in 100th place on the all time coaching wins list.

I could only find his coaching record for Uvalde where he went 34-14-3 from 1976-1980. He also had head coaching jobs at San Antonio Lee and San Antonio Roosevelt. He became the Head Coach at San Antonio Lee in 1968 and led the Volunteers to the 1971 Class 4A State title along with quarterback Tommy Kramer.
