The Wimberley Texans History Page Has Been Updated
Coach Weldon Nelms will have his Texans ready for another great season. The made it to the semifinals last year and this year the outlook looks even brighter.
The Texans have eight starters on each side of the ball coming back. These returners include District 26-3A's Offensive MVP QB Brady Lambert (2,547 yards passing) and the districts Newcomer of the Year DE JR Conner Kothman. Returning 1st Team All-District players are RB & LB Trinity Wilson (1,072 yards & 18 TDs rushing), WR Jared Kutz, TE & LB Nick Alana, DL JR Alden Mann, DL Colton Fonville, and DB Josh Gray (Honorable Mention All-State).
With all that, the Texans are one of the favorites to win it all in 2011!!
