(Week 2: 2011) 3A Celina Bobcats (2-0) @ 3A Pilot Point Bearcats (1-1)

Celina @ Pilot Point

When people mention this game, they say "Wow...What a great rivaly game this is".  In reality its kind of one-sided. Celina has a 13-4 edge in the series since 1992 including a 10 game winning streak.  Butch Ford, Head Coach of the Celina Bobcats had this to say when asked if it was still a great rivalry, "Pilot Point versus Celina is one of the states oldest  and best rivalries.  This years game will be no different.  Should be a great game.  Texas high school football at its best."

Mike Says: These schools have a long history between them including having legendary G.A. Moore as their all-time coaching wins leader at their schools. The Bobcats have been rolling in this rivaly game. They have won their last 4 meetings by a combined score of 205-47. Looks like that will be the case again. The BOBCATS win 34-10!!!

Chris Says: Since 2002, when "Power. Passion & Glory" was  based, Celina has continued to move forward.  Pilot Point however, has not.  What used to be a rivalry is now just a regular butt-whooping.  Sure, it would be nice if they could back to swapping wins and keeping it close, but that hasn't happened in over 13 years.  Celina Bobcats put it on the Bearcats once again 40-6!!!
