Mike Says: This series has been pretty close lately even though Montgomery has not won any of the games. Their last 4 games have been decided by a total of 23 points. Montgomery lost 2 weeks ago to Magnolia West while Brenham beat West by 34. The Bears are at home but the Brenham offense led by QB Dean Havemann (1090 yards 19 TDs), RB Klartel Claridy (919 yards 9 TDs) and WR Tremund Moore (39-580 12 TDs) will be hard to stop. The CUBS win 42-17!!!
Chris Says: Sometimes there are Games of the Week that on paper appear to be a total mistake. I mean, come on - Montgomery has lost all 16 meetings between these teams. But wait... there is something different this year. 1 - The Bears are 5-1 this time around and their only loss is to another 5-1 team. 2 - The Bears are putting up serious points while giving up very few. 3- The Cubs barely beat them (31-26) the last time they faced off . In the end, the experience of the Brenham program will be the difference though as the CUBS win it 35-21!!!
