There were 7 fumbles in this game because of the rain. Cinco Ranch improved their record to 8-1 overall and 6-0 in district 19-5A play. Morton Ranch falls to 5-4 overall and 3-3. They will need to beat Katy Mayde Creek next week to earn their first playoff berth in school history. Cinco Ranch will battle Katy for the district championship next week. Right now, 3 teams have clinched playoff spots in District 19-5A....Katy, Cinco Ranch and Houston Memorial. Morton Ranch will most likely be the 4th team in. In that scenario, Cinco Ranch and Morton Ranch will go Division I while Katy and Houston Memorial will go Division II.
