Waco put themselves into a 3-way tie for first place with Hewitt Midway and Stephenville with this victory. The Lions running back Darrell Harris had a big night with 319 rushing yards on 40 carries and 3 touchdowns. For the season, he now has 2,153 yards on 242 carries for 20 touchdowns. with the win Waco leads the series 11-1 vs. Waco University since 1998.
