Robert Griffin III – 4th Texas High Schooler on EA Sports NCAA Cover

The speculation has been with us for weeks, but with the unveiling of the EA Sports NCAA 13 cover featuring Robert Griffin III (Copperas Cove) and Barry Sanders, RGII has officially become the fourth former Texas high school football player to earn that coveted spot.
The only other year which featured a former Texas gridiron star was 2010 when EA Sports produced multiple covers for their award-winning video game series. The 2010 players were:
- Brian Orakpo - Houston Lamar
- Brian Johnson - Baytown Lee
- Michael Crabtree - Dallas Carter
How much longer until EA Sports Texas High School Football game hits the shelves? It is sure to be a great seller and will tie in nicely being able to start your player's career in high school, get him recruited by your favorite team in EA's NCAA game and finally drafted into EA's Madden NFL franchise.
