Coaches Comments: We head into the 2012 season with an experienced QB and an improving offensive line. The fullback position will be stronger than in 2011. Defensively only three players return and two of those are in different positions. Because of our inexperience we will need to mature quickly as a team. his is a competitive district with 9 teams. Humble Summer Creek and Dayton are strong contenders for the District Championship. Barbers Hill, Crosby, Humble Kingwood Park, Humble, CE King, New Caney Porter, and New Caney will all be in the hunt for remaining playoff spots.

Key Players:
* Kaleb Denny, QB, ( Punter) Jr. returns for his third year at the QB position. We have been 15-2 with him as the starting QB.
* Austin Knotts, Center, Sr. Austin has been 1st team all district center for two years
* Tyler Gray, TE, Sr. 1st team all district TE last year
* Trey Dobson, WR, Sr and Ryan Brock, WR, Sr. both of these guys contribute with timely receptions and a physical style of blocking in our option based offense.
* Nick ONeal, FB, Jr. Alternated last season at fullback and linebacker. Will takeover full-time at the fullback position
* Reji Rodriguez, N, Sr. Two year starter at nose, had a great spring and should be a dominant player in the middle of our defensive front.
* Garrett Dolan, LB, Sr. Garrett was a provided a strong pass rush from the outside linebacker position in 2011, He moves inside in 2012 to fill the Mike linebacker position.
* Landon Sarria, LB, Sr. Landon a starter at strong safety in 2011 makes the move to outside linebacker this year. Physical player

Mike Says: The Eagles only bring back 7 starters from last seasons playoff team. The offense will feature quarterback Denny who is starting for his 3rd season. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 in the regular season and fight for a playoff spot. Dayton and Summer Creek look to have the top 2 spots set so it will be between the Eagles, Crosby, Kingwood Park and Humble for those other 2 spots.

Chris Says: Barbers Hill, "the hill" is a team that better than I expected last season and looks to surpass that this time. They are in a tough district so don't expect anything like the district title, but they should make it into the playoffs and go farther than the first round this time.
