  • Mike Says: This is a match-up between one of the Top 5 teams in Class 2A Division II (Arp) and one of the Top 5 teams in Class 2A Division I (Tatum). In this case you would think the bigger school (Tatum has 170 more students) would win easily. History shows us that is not the case. Both teams have good athletes on both sides of the ball. This will be a close one but Tatum will remember what happened the last time they played Arp. The EAGLES win 21-20!!
  • Chris Says: Mike, Mike, Mike (shaking head)  While I don't question you on who you pick - I mean, you did beat me last year, but your 1 & 2 point game predictions... really?  Haha.  Seriously, the history of battles between these two excellent football programs is rarely a close one.  One team will find they have the edge and just roll the other.  Who is it going to be this year?  While I feel Arp is going to have a great season, I think it is going to take a game like this to get them kicked into high gear.  Tatum has the home field advantage and will be ready for this rematch.  The EAGLES roll 35-20!!!

Are you a fan of either team? Call the voicemail line and leave a message about the game (713) 568-6361. Tell everyone at your school to do the same – then listen in future Lone Star Gridiron Shows to hear them all!!!
