  • Mike Says: Alvarado welcomes Fort Worth Southwest to the bright lights of an LSG Game Of The Week. Both teams are off to 2-0 starts. The Indians have blown out both of their opponents led by RB Lee Hardy, LB Marcus Villarreal and DL Brazos Fuller. The Raiders feature a high scoring offense led by QB Wesley Harris and WR Robbie Rhodes. The Alvarado defense will be tested but the INDIANS win it 34-30!!
  • Chris Says: Alvarado is putting up some crazy numbers averaging 60 points a game.  Fort Worth Southwest isn't looking too shabby in that department either - scoring 42 in each of their games.   Alvarado was in the state title game last year and returned the majority of that offense.  The big piece of last year that is missing is Wayne Onderdonck and his 5,800 rushing yards.  It doesn't seem to have hurt the Indians however as runners like Lee Hardy have stepped up big while players like Kenny West and Marcus McNeil are showing why this team could be as good as last year.  The INDIANS take the win 42-31!!!
