2013 Coaching Change: Cibolo Steele Knights
Old Head Coach: Michael Jinks -- Leaving to become the running backs coach at Texas Tech. He has led the Knights to a 76-18 record over the past 7 years which included the 2010 5A Division II state championship. He was also head coach at San Antonio Burbank in 2004 going 2-8. He has also been an assistant at San Antonio Ellison, Converse Judson, Austin Crockett, Galena Park and San Antonio Lee.
New Head Coach: Scott Lehnhoff -- Was the Knights offensive coordinator and has been with the Knights since the school opened in 2005. This will be his first head coaching position. He has also worked as an assistant at San Antonio Lee. His dad Robert Lehnhoff and his grandfather Fritz have also been Texas High School coaches. Robert Lehnhoff has an all-time coaching record of 182-80-4 which ranks him in the Top 150 in all-time coaching wins. Fritz was a coach at Marble Falls (1951-1961 78-30-6), Poth (1962-1972 78-38-4) and Texas Lutheran College. He has an all-time coaching record of 156-68-10 which ranks him in the Top 225 in all-time coaching wins.
Team News: The Knights now have 6 consecutive 9+ win seasons going 63-11.
