Last Week:
Cedar Hill beat Denton Guyer 38-28 in one of our Games Of The Week
Allen beat Southlake Carroll 49-27 in one of our Games Of The Week

  • Allen EaglesMike Says: This is a match-up of last years 5A DI Champion and 5A's DII Runner Up. Both of these teams had impressive victories last week that were featured in our Games Of The Week. Allen rolled up 663 yards of total offense in a surprisingly dominant win over Southlake Carroll while Cedar Hill knocked off one of Class 4A’s top teams while keeping Guyers superstar QB Jerrod Heard in check. Now....here they are again.....in the hot spotlight of another LSG Game Of The Week. Can Cedar Hill shut down another great QB? Allen's QB Kyler Murray threw for 464 yards against Southlake. I gave Allen a chance to lose the only game they will lose all year last week. They blew that chance, so ALLEN will win it 34-21!!
  • Cedar Hill LonghornsChris Says:  I'm kinda almost over Allen being in the Game of the Week every single week, but hey - they are a good team and are not afraid to schedule good matchups.  This is the week where we see which one of these teams if for real.  From what I saw the first week, I was more impressed with Cedar Hill's victory over Denton Guyer.  The Longhorns faced Jarrod Heard last week and will once again go up against a great QB when they face Allen's Kyler Murray.  If this game were played at Cedar Hill, I would give it to the Longhorns outright, but as it is at Allen's shiny new stadium, it won't be that easy.  I guess to win big, you gotta bet big, so I am going out on a limb here and picking Allen to get their only loss of the year.  The LONGHORNS take the win 31-28!!
  • Allen EaglesLSG Intern Zach Says: Did I pick Cedar Hill to lose last week? I meant this week. The Longhorns played a great game and did an even better job keeping Jerrod Heard from leading a rally. Unfortunately for them, they now have to deal with Allen’s Kyler Murray, who laid Southlake Carroll to waste with 464 passing yards and five total touchdowns. Allen is serious about repeating this year, and will prove it in their first game in front of the home crowd in that fancy new stadium. Eagles 42-28.
