Love when these come down to the final day. Ridge Point sits atop District 22, where it has been all season. The Panthers are in no matter what, holding the tiebreaker over both Marshall and Tomball with two games to play. The team to watch is Stratford, which has won its last five games by a 205-6 margin. The Spartans are red hot at just the right time, getting their title shot in the final week of the season against the first-place Panthers. That is, as long as they can handle Tomball on the road. Even if they knock off Stratford, the Cougars would need to win out in convincing fashion and for Stratford to lose to Ridge Point to set up a three-way tie for second place. Otherwise, Marshall would be the team barring a road upset at the hands of Willowridge. Then again, Stratford could simply go 1-1 and we get exactly what we have expected since the middle of the season. This could turn into a wild one.
Zach’s Prediction: Stratford (7-0), Ridge Point (6-1), Marshall (5-2), Tomball Memorial (4-3), Tomball (3-4), Willowridge (2-5), Northbrook (1-6), Spring Woods (0-7)
