THSCA Leadership Summit Brings Star Power & Strong Message

The 3rd annual Texas High School Coaches Association Leadership Summit was held at the Merrill center in Katy, Texas on February 17th and Jeff Powers TV was on hand to record some of the event. Speakers like 5 time NFL Pro-Bowler LaDanian Tomlinson, University of Texas head football coach Charlie Strong, Texas A&M head football coach Kevin Sumlin, former Dallas Cowboy Chad Hennings, former Baylor quarterback and NFL player Neal Jeffrey, former Oklahoma Sooner quarterback and U. S. House of Representatives J. C. Watts, and a host of others were on hand sharing a message of support for single parent families.
In addition, coaches Andy Evans of Tatum and Glen West of Brenham were awarded the Coaches Beyond the Game Award for programs they began at their high schools supporting single parent families.
