Seriously, there is only one big thing right now and that has to be the relaunch of Lone Star Gridiron. Yes, in honor of our ten year anniversary, we have completely redesigned the #1 site for Texas high school football information!
In addition to the new look and feel, we have added a TON of great new content that we are putting under our Premium Subscription! All the news you've grown to love the past decade is still here for everyone to access for free, but we have broken the seal on buried treasure and will now share it with subscribers!
In fact, those items are the Five BIG Things:
1. Team Histories - this has to be the biggest of the list just because it is so much information. Sure, we have a lot of formatting to do and we will be constantly updating the information, but this is bar-none the greatest collection of Texas high school football history in existence.
2. Record Books - in the past we have shared just a tiny sample of all the great team and individual records we track. Now, we will unveil a treasury of unseen records. Whether you want to delve into individual standouts or dynasties that just keep truckin', you will find inspiration and awe behind all these numbers.
3. Team Previews - again, in the past, we have shared a lot of this information, but this year we take things to the next level and delve deeper and wider as we work to give you the best information about your teams!
4. Coaching Histories - this section is still developing but, when finally launched, will give an in-depth picture of the careers of these men who make it all possible. As they work to develop players into better athletes and young men, we work to honor these inspirational leaders.
5. YOU - the 2014 relaunch of Lone Star Gridiron features you in a much bigger way. Sure, you can comment and share like you always have, but through things like the Brotherhood of Texas High School Football, reader polls, audio feedback and a few surprises, you will play an even larger role in helping us celebrate, "the greatest sport in the greatest state!" ™
So welcome to the 2014 Texas high school football season and welcome to the 10th year anniversary of Lone Star Gridiron!
