Rebels look to make a statement in Boerne

Coach Neal LaHue's Rebels travel down I-35 to renew their battle with Coach Keith Kaiser's Chargers. The Rebels of Hays Consolidated took their last game in convincing fashion 38-7 and look to have the edge once again.
Connor Lanfear - Hays Consolidated Rebels
The biggest weapon for the Rebs is OT Connor Lanfear (Top Offensive Line Prospects) who is believed to be one of the absolute best in the state. Running right behind him will be JR running back #28 Cody Gandy who rolled up more than 1,200 all-purpose yards as a sophomore.
The Rebels want to get some wins under their belt before a tough district schedule. With the move up to Class 6A, Hays finds itself smack dab in the middle of the Central Texas District of Doom (14-6A) where they will battle the likes of Austin Lake Travis, Austin Westlake and Austin Bowie.
The smaller school, Boerne Champion (District 27-5A) will look to QB Josh Green to make things happen. They bring back a lot of starters and the realignment has put them in a district where they should manage a 2nd or 3rd place finish in district.
Expect scoring to be the name of the game in this matchup of two powerful offenses and Hays Consolidated to come out on top once again.
