Canadian WildcatsMike Says: Mason knocked off one of 2A's best in Refugio in the Quarterfinals while Canadian beat our #1 team in 2A Mart last week. Both teams have outscored their opponents by an average of 47.17 to 10.39. Canadian has the big stat leaders in QB Tanner Schafer (3,622 yards 49 TDs), WR Braiden Galla (1,206 yards) and LB Andrew Ezzell (176 tackles 29 TFL). Mason will try to run the ball to take all the time off the clock and keep the ball away from the high flying Canadian offense. That plan is not going to work. The WILDCATS win it 38-24!!

Mason PunchersChris Says: I have been waiting for this matchup!  Both teams have long been favorites of mine and both have knocked off some giants en-route to this title game.  Both may have already faced (and beaten) their toughest opponents this year.   Canadian has been the more flashy offense and scored 113 more points that Mason, but the Punchers have given up 50 points less.  I see this one playing out a lot like the Punchers' game against Refugio.  It will be lower scoring than either expects and the PUNCHERS get the win 28-25!!!
