Winner: LB Chan Amie (Waskom)
Line Backer Chan Amie excelled as the leading defender on the Division II championship team.

2. DB DeOntae Jones (Edna)
Defensive back DeOntae Jones had a total of five interceptions for the 2014 season. Jones also blocked three field goal attempts. The defensive back served as the defensive leader on this season's surprising Cowboy team, that made an appearance in the Semi-finals.

3. DB Roney Elam (Newton)
Defensive back Roney Elam battled his way to 112 tackles. Elam also contributed four interceptions for his team. The defensive back had a total of five blocked kicks for the 2014 season.

4. DL D’Andre Adams (Cameron Yoe)
Defensive lineman D'Andre Adams acquired 150 tackles for the 2014 season. Adams had 15 tackles for losses and totaled 32 pass hurries for the season.
