Defensive Back Collin Wilder was a key member of the Katy state championship team.

2. LB Paddy Fisher (Katy)

Fisher was the first runner up last year also. Alongside DPOY winner, Collin Wilder, Paddy was the leader of a Tiger defense that has been ranked among the best defenses in Texas high school football history.

3. DB Isiah Fields (Cibolo Steele)

Defensive Back Isaiah Fields ended the season with 65 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 7 interceptions. He ends his high school career with 22 total interceptions.

4. LB Andrew Hyacinth (Galena Park North Shore)

Linebacker Andrew Hyacinth was a key defender for the Mustangs on their way to a state championship.

5. DB Austin Hiller (Austin Lake Travis)

Junior Defensive back Austin Hiller had a great season with 123 tackles to go along with 7 interceptions.
