Old High Gets New Blood

The Wichita Falls Coyotes hired Grant Freeman as their 22nd coach.  Freeman will replace Paul Sharr who resigned after one season (1-9) in 2016.

Coach Freeman was promoted from Offensive Coordinator and spent three years prior as Defensive Coordinator at Marshall. A 1999 graduate of San Angelo Lake View, Freeman started his coaching career there in 2006.

While a return to the historic Old High records of the late 50's isn't expected soon, the Coyotes are hoping Grant will turn the program around. Wichita Falls hasn't had a winning season the previous two seasons with back-to-back 1-9 showings.
