Each year, Lone Star Gridiron sends out ballots to our Fans, TXHSFB Coaches, Brotherhood members and our staff/contributors. We compile those votes to select our players and coaches of the year.
This year, Galena Park North Shore's Jordan Revels was selected as the 2018 Class 6A LSG Defensive Player Of The Year. Revels led the Mustangs to a great season finishing with a perfect 16-0 record and winning the Class 6A Division I Championship. Revels has signed on to continue his football story for the Texas State University Bobcats in San Marcos, Texas.
Converse Judson DL DeMarvin Leal was the Runner Up while DB Jephaniah Lister from Longview finished 3rd.

We have the 2018 team created and players around the world are coaching the Mustangs against some of the greatest teams in history.
2018 Galena Park North Shore The Mustangs won their 3rd state championship in school history. They scored on Hail Mary pass on the last play of the game for the win. This was their 19th consecutive season with 8+ wins.
