In a showdown at Erwin-Lee Field, the Geronimo Navarro Panthers prevailed falling behind 14-0 early in the 2nd quarter to tie the game at half 14 all. Navarro capitalized on four Wimberley turnovers including a 95 yd pick 6 by Sam Muniga and walked away with a 42 to 14 victory. The win places Navarro in the drivers seat for the District Title with Cuero at Home this week then Bandera to finish the regular season. Navarro is 8-0 and 3-0 in District 13 4A DII.
