Our guest on this episode of Top Texas Prospects Show is QB Jake Strong (2023) from Justin Northwest High School.

Marc talks with Jake about how he has changed-up his workouts during the Covid-19 pandemic since his high school (Northwest - Justin TX) transitioned to online. Marc asks Jake how playing for USA National Team during middle school helped prepare him heading into high school. Jake tells Marc how he felt getting his first varsity experience during his freshman year in 2019. Jake talks about playing for the Northwest Texans after having watched past stars Gavin Holmes (Baylor) and Prince Mavula, also a former quarterback from Northwest. Marc asks Jake about some of his returning teammates and their goals for the 2020 season. Jake explains how his Head Coach Bill Poe (https://twitter.com/coach_bpoe) has been a mentor to him since arriving at Northwest High School.

Matt talks with Jake about his grades in the classroom and how he has adjusted his school schedule since he is working from home. Jake tells Matt about his workout routine and the advantage he has that his personal gym is close to his home. Jake explains to Matt how he adjusted to the speed of the game during his first varsity experience as a freshman in 2019. Strong tells Matt some of his off the field hobbies are hunting and spending time with his family on their ranch.
