Rivalry Lives Up to the Hype
In a battle of two legendary powers, it was the unstoppable force versus the immovable object and the score board reflected that until the end of the third quarter. To break a 0-0 tie. Galena Park North Shore's Jaylen Bocard had a step on the defender as Kaleb Maryland launched a 44 yard TD strike to end the stalemate. The teams have met in this title game six times in the last eight years and is the very definition of a rivalry. This time around it lived up to the hype as the TD seemed to open the floodgates. In the end, Duncanville came up short on a 4th and 3 pass leaving Galena Park North Shore to seal the win (their 4th in the series.) This time the score was 10-7.
