Tenaha Wins Big In 1A Division II Championship

The Tenaha Tigers won their 2nd ever state championship game with a big win over the Munday Moguls in the Class 1A Division II state championship game. They scored 21 unanswered points to open the second half to earn the victory.
The Tigers got a big game from quarterback Reginald Davis who totaled 548 yards and was the Offensive Player Of The Game. Davis ran for 242 yards and 2 touchdowns, passed for 226 yards and 3 TDs and returned a punt 80 yards for a score. Tiger defensive back Assante Cleaver had 2 interceptions in the game was was the games Defensive Player Of The Game.
Munday quarterback Paul Dee was the offensive star for Munday while their linebacker Cobe Carraway led the defense with 13 tackles. The Moguls fall to 2-2 all-time in championship games.
The game was played in front of 5,592.
