2012 Coaching Change: Teague Lions

Old Head Coach: Stony Coffman -- Leaving after leading the Lions for only 1 season to a 5-5 record. He has also been a head coach at Gilmer Harmony, Howe 2006-2009 (12-28) and Rio vista 1992-2000 (54-41-3).

New Head Coach: Daniel Johnson -- From 1A Nueces Canyon where he led the Panthers for 1 year going 7-4. Before taking over at Nueces Canyon, he was an assistant at Pittsburgh and Clarksville.

Team News: The Lions have gone 17-25 over the past 4 seasons. They will be staying in District 11-2A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Crockett, Elkhart, Franklin, Palestine Westwood and Trinity.
