Wimberley to sell naming rights to stadium

Back in June, inspectors ruled the Wimberley Texans' football turf unsafe for play. This caused an unexpected expense ($485,000) to the school as well as missed home games which cost even more revenue loss from ticket and concessions.

Because of the shortfalls, the Texans have announced that they are making the naming rights to the stadium available. The asking price? Somewhere in the mid to high five-figures for several years. In addition, banner sales in the stadium are also being made available.
