Coaching Changes — San Antonio Southwest

San Antonio Southwest has promoted their offensive coordinator Pete Wagner to head coach and athletic director. He has spent the past four seasons as an assistant at Southwest and will replace Matt Elliott.

Elliot left to become the head coach and athletic director at 4A New Braunfels Canyon.

San Antonio Southwest is on a 4 year winning streak going 38-9 during that time. They should once again be the favorites in District 28-5A. Other schools in the district are Corpus Christi Carroll, Corpus Christi King, San Antonio East Central, San Antonio Highlands and South San Antonio.
