QUESTION:
We are going to the New Braunfels - Cibolo game this Friday night..
Do you know if this game will have any playoff implications and who should win.

Cibolo Steele is coming in ranked #22 with a 4-2 record.....Their key games are Loss to #33 San Antonio Madison 23-28, Win against #75 Round Rock 24-14, Loss to #4 4A Kerrville Tivy 45-54.....looking at this they have not beaten any really good teams but have played close ones to very good teams in their losses.
New Braunfels is struggling and is ranked #57 with a 3-3 record......Their key games are Win against #75 4A New Braunfels Canyon 24-19, Win against #35 4A Schertz Clemens 34-0, Loss to #33 San Antonio Madison 20-28, Loss to #20 San Antonio MacArthur 10-28, Loss to #19 Austin Westlake 34-39. They have also lost to some very good teams in close games.
They have both lost to Madison.
This will be the first district game for all of 25-5A....the odd teams out should be San Marcos and Seguin.....leaving the two Converse schools and these two to make the playoffs. These two have the smaller enrollment and would both go Division II so this is an important game to see who will play the 2nd place Division II team in district 26 in the first round of the playoffs. Either way it will be a tough one with most likely matchups being San Antonio Reagan or MacArthur
With all of that....Malcolm Brown will lead the way through that tough Unicorns defense for the win....LSG predicts 28-21
