North Forney Gets 2nd Head Coach In Only Their 2nd Year Of Varsity Play

2011 Coaching Change -- North Forney Falcons
Old Head Coach: Hank Semler -- Reassigned after only one season (North Forney's first varsity season). He led the Falcons to a 2-9 record and made the playoffs with a 3rd place finish in district 13-3A.
New Head Coach: James Brown -- From 5A Fort Bend Kempner where he has led the Cougars for the last 4 seasons to a 22-20 record. The Cougars made it to the playoffs in each of Brown's four seasons but they were eliminated in bi-district play each year. Was also a head coach at 4A Brazosport (2-8 in 2006) after being an assistant at Alvin.
Team News: North Forney will play in District 13-3A agains next season with its first class of seniors but will probably go to Class 4A in the next UIL realignment. They are the sister school to Forney, which has moved up to 4A in 2004.
