2011 Coaching Change: Fort Bend Elkins Knights
Old Head Coach: Robert Crivellari -- Retiring after leading the Knights to a 32-28-0 record over the last 6 seasons. His teams finished with a 21-9 record over the last 3 seaons. Before he arrived the Knights were on a five year losing streak. Elkins was his first head coaching job.
New Head Coach: Dennis Brantley -- Has been the Knights offensive coordinator for the last three years. Before taking over as the offensive coordinator, he was the Head Coach at Fort Bend Marshall from 2004-2007. He led the Buffloes to a 26-17-0 record over 4 seasons.
Team News: The Knights are on a 3 year winning streak which is the longest in the schools history (1st varsity season was 1994). Their two biggest rivals are Fort Bend Hightower and Fort Bend Dulles. They are 2-9 all-time vs Fort Bend Hightower and 11-6-1 vs. Fort Bend Dulles.
