2011 Coaching Change: Kirbyville Wildcats
Old Head Coach: Jack Alvarez — Leaving for 4A Ennis. He led the Wildcats to a 95-38-0 record over the last 11 seasons. He has an overall record of 105-49-0. His other head coaching job was at West Sabine. Coach Alvarez turned things around while at Kirbyville after he took over a team that went 0-20 in the previous 2 years. He also led the Wilcats to the state championship game in 2008 & 2009 while they were in Class 2A. He is the all-time wins leader in Wildcat history.
New Head Coach: Greg Neece -- Has coached the Wildcats for the last six years including being the offensive coordinator over the last three seasons.
Team News: The Wildcats have had 9 consecutive winning seasons including 4 consecutive 11+ win seasons.
