Mike Says: Claude head coach James Lane has really turned things around since he arrived last season. His Mustangs went 4-6 last season after they ended a 28 game losing steak. Wellington is cruising along and are one of the best in Class 1A Division II. Their offense has put up 32 or more points in 6 games. They are led by QB Klark Ashmore 1727 23 TDs, RB Francisco Cruz 961 yards 12 TDs and WR Dustin Castillo 38-810 10 TDs DB 61 tackles. Their defense is headed up by DL Corey Black 70 tackles. Congrats to Claude for turning things around but Wellington is very good. The SKYROCKETS win 42-17!!!

Chris Says: There are times when you wonder what makes a game qualify to be a Game of the Week? This one has me puzzled. Sure, it has implications in District 2-1A, but is it even really a contest? No doubt, you have to love what Claude has accomplished in the past two seasons, but Game of the Week? Not yet. The Wellington SKYROCKETS blast off to a 30-20 victory!!!
