Devine Wins Shootout Over Wharton — Joseph Sadler Breaks All-Time Scoring Record

 Devine's running back Joseph Sadler ran for 394 yards on 41 carries and scored seven touchdowns during their Regional playoff victory over Wharton. The Warhorses now have 13 wins on the season which is the most in their history.  They advance to the Quarterfinals to face Wimberley next week.

For the record, Sadler broke Kenneth Hall's all-time state season scoring record of 395 points. With the 50 points scored in this game (7 TD's and 8 extra points) he now has 441.   For the season, he has 3,680 yards on 352 carries and 57 rushing touchdowns.
