The Tigers remained undefeated and won the district 19-5A championship with a 38-7 win over Katy Cinco Ranch. Katy won this once again with a strong running game (393 yards) and one of the states best defenses (-16 yards rushing for Cinco).
Next week the Tigers will play Houston Madison in their Class 5A Division II bi-district game. Cinco Ranch will play in the 5A Division I bracket against Houston Bellaire.
Katy Kicker Jeff Johnson connected on 5 extra points during the game. For his career, he now has 151.
