Mike Says: This is what we wrote back in August "Refugio will defeat Lexington this year in the semifinal rematch...........Refugio is then favored to go on an win their first championship since 1982." Refugio's high flying offense is breaking all kinds of all-time records. The Cisco defense will have to step up big in order to not go 0-4 in championship games. This will be too much to ask. The BOBCATS win 34-21!!!

Class 3A Pre-Season Championship Predictions

Chris Says:  We said before the season began that Refugio finishes the job this time and wins the state championship.  Coach Jason Herring's Bobcats have already broken the record for most points scored in a single season.  They have done it with the one-two punch of a strong running game and a downright sick passing attack.  Sophomore Travis Quintanilla has an absolute rocket launcher of an arm and the receiving corp that can adjust to make him look like a marksman as well.  Lynx Hawthorne is the single best receiver I have seen this season (and I have seen some great ones.)  Cisco has a good squad, but cannot keep up with Refugio.  The BOBCATS win 45-28!!!
