Refugio Continues To Impress: Record Watch — Hudson, Hawthorne, Cordero & Quintanilla

The Refugio Bobcats continued to impress with a quarterfinal win over the Sonora Broncos.  They will face Lexington next week in the semifinals.

For the record, Sonora wide receiver Word Hudson caught 5 passes for 81 yards and 1 touchdown to give him 59 receptions for 1,021 yards and 16 touchdowns for the season.  Refugio wide receiver Lynx Hawthorne caught 3 passes for 44 yards.  He now has 58 receptions for 1,457 yards 21 touchdowns.  Bobcat Kicker Adolfo Cordero hit 5 extra points to give him 81 on the season.   Quarterback Travis Quintanilla connected on 9 passes on 16 attempts for 101 yards and 1 touchdonw.  For the season, he now has 153 completions on 228 attempts for 3,164 yards and 45 touchdowns.
