2012 Coaching Change: La Villa Cardinals
Old Head Coach: Gene Garza -- Resigned after leading the Cardinals to a 32-23 record over the last 5 years. He was also an assistant at Edcouch-Elsa from 2001-2006 and Edinburg from 1999-2000.
New Head Coach: Danny Perez -- Has been an assistant coach with the Cardinals for the past 5 seasons and is their current defensive coordinator.
Team News: The Cardinals are 16-17 over the last 3 seasons.
