2012 Coaching Change: Edinburg Vela SaberCats
Old Head Coach: NEW SCHOOL
New Head Coach: Michael Salinas -- Will be the first ever head coach for the SaberCats. Was the defensive coordinator at Harlingen South before leaving in 2010.
Team News: Will be in District 30-5A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Donna, Edinburg, Edinburg Economedes, Edinburg North, La Joya, La Joya Juarez-Lincoln, La Joya Palmview and Mission Sharyland.
