2012 Coaching Change: Laredo Cigarroa Toros
Old Head Coach: Frank De Hoyos -- Retiring after leading the Toros for the past 3 years to a 5-25 record.
New Head Coach: Jesse Esparza -- Was the co-defensive coordinator at Laredo United.
Team News: The Toros have had 6 consecutive non-winning seasons going 19-42. They will be dropping down to District 31-4A from 29-5A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Alice, Corpus Christi Flour Bluff, Corpus Christi Miller, Corpus Christi Moody, Corpus Christi Ray, Laredo Martin and Laredo Nixon.
