2012 Coaching Change: Mabank Panthers

Old Head Coach: Jimmy Cantrell -- Stepping down to be an assistant with the team. He led the Panthers for the past 7 years to an overall 31-41 record.

New Head Coach: Jared Wingfield -- Was the offensive coordinator at Port Neches-Groves since 2008.

Team News: The Panthers are on a 4 year losing streak. They will be moving to District 15-3A from 13-3A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Athens, Brownsboro, Canton, Mineola and Van.
