2012 Coaching Change: Maypearl Panthers
Old Head Coach: Michael Farda -- Leaving to be defensive coordinator at 4A Joshua. He led the Panthers for the past 2 years to a 9-13 record. His dad was longtime Irving Nimitz head coach Mike Farda.
New Head Coach: Tony Johnson -- Was an assistant at South Grand Prairie.
Team News: The Panthers are on a 11 game losing streak. They will be moving to District 12-2A Division I from 6-2A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Clifton, Godley, Grandview, Palmer, Red Oak Life and Whitney.
