  • Mike Says: The Eagles made it all the way to the Semifinals last year. This year they bring back a tough defense and a high scoring offense. The defense only gave up 6 points in 5 district games last year and will be led by DB Sterling. The Offense scored 295 points in those same 5 district games. Quarterback Shimonek will again take over under center with OL Pennell heading up a solid offensive line. They are a Top 10 team and will make it 3 or 4 rounds into the playoffs. Look for them to go 9-1 or 10-0 in the regular season and get competition from Gunter, Holliday and Clarksville in the region.
  • Chris Says: Corsicana Mildred was rock solid last season and just a TD away from going to the state championship.  What happens this season?  Well, they don't bring back a ton, but what they do return is solid.  Their powerful offense will continue to roll and since most of their returning starters on the defense, it should be solid as well.  The Eagles will take district and while may not make it to the title game, they will be close.
